What are the implications behind living in a generation consumed with the self? According to social psychologist, Jean Twenge, the answer involves depression, anxiety and entitlement. Albeit polarizing (I can see both why people love and dislike the book), Twenge raises interesting questions regarding what it is that makes us happy and why, if we’ve had more than any other generation, we are prone to such feelings of loneliness.

    Great for:

    • Anyone with teenagers
    • Those looking to investigate the feelings behind entitlement
    • Teachers
